?! eh, as a business student, u need to check with the accounting students on how to assign costs.
Missing elements in your cost analysis:
1. Car depreciation (father’s money)
2. Petrol (father/sister/whoever-pays-for-petrol’s money)
3. tv licence cost assignation (consumption = assigned cost)
4. TV depreciation
5. House depreciation/cost of living
6. Computer depreciation cost
7. Internet access cost.
Your actual day cost more than $2.30 outflow. That is the day’s cashflow, but not the day’s P&L for the legal entity known as Ford.
You are right that most of it was consumed on other people’s money. The question here is – do you know what you are consuming, and why, or are you just happy with the surface analysis of $2.30?
happy new academic year. Here’s to the red pill.
